T-BFM Aromatization Technology

Aromatization technology is the reaction of naphtha or LPG with isomerization, cyclization, dehydrogenation, pyrolysis, polymerization under the action of catalyst, to obtain mixture of aromatic hydrocarbons or high octane and harmonic components containing benzene, toluene and xylene.

Naphtha is mainly used as raw material for catalytic reforming or cracking ethylene. For some small and medium-sized refineries, refineries in marginal areas or crude oil stabilization plants in some oil fields, it is difficult for straight-run naphtha to be used as raw material for catalytic reforming or cracking ethylene. If it is directly mixed with other gasoline, the octane number is too low, which affects the economic value of the product. Therefore, this part of the resources can use naphtha aromatization technology to produce high octane gasoline or aromatics, and improve the economic value of naphtha.
