What is carbon deposition?

Carbon deposits and oil contamination are products produced inside the engine. At idle or low speed, the injector temperature is about 100℃ and the intake valve temperature is between 200-300℃. Under long-term idling or low-speed conditions, the unstable factors in the fuel are very prone to oxidation and condensation reactions, producing colloidal precipitation and forming carbon deposits after the high temperature action.

Severe carbon accumulation will lead to idle jitter and power reduction.

At present, the gasoline additive market is relatively confusing, with different ingredients and different quality. There are few inferior ones. A real fuel oil can indeed play a role in removing carbon deposits, but how much can it do? Personally, I feel like we usually drink some functional drinks - some people think it is really refreshing, some people drink it and then stop~

However, it should be noted that using low quality fuel or too much fuel can damage the car engine, the three-way catalytic converter and other risks

The main components of fuel are antioxidants and cleaning agents.

M-cresol was used as a raw material to synthesize 6-tert-butyl-in-3-methylphenol, 6-tert-butyl-3-methylphenol, butyraldehyde and dichlorinated sulfur, respectively, for the synthesis of phenolic antioxidants. Phenolic antioxidants are the leading products of antioxidants. Antioxidants stored in gasoline for a long time will react with the aromatic components in gasoline and decompose back into m-methylphenol, which is very corrosive to plastic products such as fuel pipes.

When excessive fuel is added to gasoline, m-cresol will cause rapid oxidation damage to plastic parts and fuel pipes in the fuel system, posing a safety hazard.

1 Add high-grade gasoline flush

High-grade gasoline has a higher octane rating than low-grade gasoline and burns well and cleanly, with a much lower likelihood of carbon buildup.

High-standard gasoline can effectively clean the residual carbon. If you fill up 92× gasoline for a long time, you can choose to fill up one or two 95× tanks when you feel the car has carbon build-up.

2. It is recommended to run regularly at high speed

Using the flushing effect of airflow on the entrance, high speed running can prevent carbon accumulation.

Or step on the throttle in place and run at high speed, which can also play a role in removing carbon.

It is recommended to try to refuel at large gas stations such as PetroChina and Sinopec on a regular basis. Although some small gas stations have cheap fuel prices, there are differences in fuel quality. Poor quality fuel may contain too much silicon, lead and other harmful substances, which can damage the three-way catalytic converter and engine; some poor quality fuel may also contain too much water and sulfide, which can damage and corrode the fuel pump.
