4.3 Catalytic cracking gasoline desulfurization additives

The heavy metal content on the catalytic cracking balancing agent in China are more than 10 mg/g, so foreign sulfur reduction additives are not necessarily applicable to domestic catalytic cracking units. The Institute of Petrochemical Sciences has studied the transformation mechanism of sulfide in the catalytic cracking process, as well as the transformation process of sulfide adsorption by new materials, and developed desulfurization additives that can process raw materials containing high nickel and high vanadium.

chemical

Luoyang Petrochemical opened LDS-S1 catalytic cracking gasoline desulfurization solid additives, experimental results show that when LDS-S1 accounts for 10% of the catalyst collection, the mass fraction of sulfur in gasoline can be reduced by 25% to 30%, and the balancing agent activity is increased by 2 to 3 units.

5 Environmental and Energy Saving Additives

5.1 Sulfur transfer agents to reduce SOx emissions in FCC flue gas

Sulfur transfer agent is also called desulfurization agent or SOx removal agent. If the sulfur content is lower than 0.5%, it is most economical to reduce SOx emission in catalytic cracking flue gas by adding sulfur transfer agent. The RFS sulfur transfer agent developed by Petrochemical Scientific Research Institute has good sulfur transfer performance and the ability to capture certain heavy metal nickel and alum; the LST-1 liquid sulfur transfer agent developed by Luoyang Petrochemical Engineering Company has high effect of SOx removal and can also be used with other additives.

The multi-functional sulfur transfer agent jointly developed by Qilu Petrochemical Company Research Institute and East China University of Science and Technology has been used in The multi-functional sulfur transfer agent jointly developed by the research institute of Qilu Petrochemical Company and East China University of Science and Technology has been industrially applied in Qilu Petrochemical Company and achieved good results.

5.2 CO accelerator in catalytic cracking catalyst regeneration process

At present, most of the active components of CO accelerators are precious metals such as platinum and palladium, but due to the high prices and scarce resources of these metals, countries have developed non-precious metal accelerators; recently, a rare earth accelerator has been developed, which has the same combustion effect as platinum accelerator, and the oxygen released can enhance combustion and improve catalyst activity.

chemical

Qingdao Institute of Chemical Technology has developed an environment-friendly nano-palladium CO accelerator The additive does not use chemical substances such as acid, alkali and salt in the production process and does not emit pollutants, and has been tested for industrial application in Qilu Petrochemical.
